MEET THE SIX DEITIES

Lakshmi — The Sound of Abundance

Dear one, if you have felt scarcity, in your finances, your relationships, your sense of enough-ness, Lakshmi is the sound that opens you to receive. This is not a mantra for chasing abundance. It is a mantra for remembering that you were always meant to receive it.

Saraswati — The Sound of Creativity

When the words won't come, when the art feels blocked, when your own voice feels muted beneath the noise of daily life, Saraswati is the current that reopens the channel. She is the goddess of wisdom, music, and creative flow, and her mantra clears the way for your own creative spirit to move again.

Durga — The Sound of Sacred Strength

For the moments life asks more of you than you believe you have, Durga is the fierce protector who reminds you: the strength was always yours. This mantra is chanted by those ready to reclaim their power, set boundaries, and stand fully in their own fire.

Kali — The Sound of Release

Kali does not destroy for destruction's sake, she clears space for what comes next. If there is an old pattern, an old identity, an old grief you are ready to release, this is the sound that helps you let it go, with reverence rather than force.

Shiva — The Sound of Oneness

Beyond abundance, beyond creativity, beyond even strength and release, there is the stillness beneath it all, the recognition that you were never separate from the divine to begin with. Shiva's mantra is the practice for coming home to that oneness.

WHY THIS IS A JAPA MALA PRACTICE

Deepen you connection with the frequency of each word spoken.

Dear one, each of these five sacred sounds is designed to be practiced as Japa, the ancient art of repeating a mantra a fixed number of times as meditation.

And that number, across thousands of years of yogic tradition, is almost always 108.

Why 108? The sages held it as a sacred, complete number, said to mirror the 108 energy lines believed to converge at the heart chakra, echoed in the ratios some traditions use to describe the relationship between the sun and the earth, and reflected in the 108 sacred syllables of Sanskrit itself. Whatever the lens, 108 has long stood for wholeness, a full and complete cycle of devotion.

A Japa Mala, a strand of 108 beads, plus one sacred "guru bead" that marks the beginning and end of your cycle, allows your hand to keep count so your mind is free to rest fully in the sound. One bead, one repetition, one small act of devotion at a time, until a complete cycle has moved through you.

You do not need to purchase anything new to begin this practice. If you already have a mala, from any tradition, any material, any past chapter of your life, it is more than welcome here.

If you do not yet have one, or wish to receive one blessed specifically for this collection, you're warmly invited to receive one from us.

HOW THE PRACTICE WORKS

  1. Choose the sound calling to you. Trust whichever goddess you're drawn to first, there is no wrong door.

  2. Find ten to fifteen quiet minutes. Early morning or dusk are traditionally considered the most potent windows for practice.

  3. Press play, and let your mala guide you. Follow along as you move through 108 sacred repetitions, one bead at a time.

  4. Return, whenever you need to. These recordings are yours for life, come back to Lakshmi when you need abundance, Kali when you need release, Shiva when you simply need stillness.

FAQ section

Frequently asked questions

You've got questions. We've got answers.

Do I need any prior experience with mantra or meditation?

None at all, dear one. These practices are designed to meet you exactly where you are, whether this is your very first mantra or your ten-thousandth.

Do I need a Japa Mala to begin?

No, you can begin the practice today with the audios alone. A mala simply deepens the traditional counting practice. Use one you already own, or receive one from us whenever you feel called.

How long is each practice?

Each audio guides you through a full mantra practice at a gentle, unhurried pace, designed to be practiced daily or whenever you're called to return.

Do I need to know Sanskrit or pronounce the mantras perfectly?

Not at all. You will be guided clearly through each sound. Presence matters far more than perfect pronunciation.

Is this connected to a specific religion I need to follow?

These mantras come from the Hindu and Vedic yogic traditions. You do not need to belong to any particular faith to practice with sincerity and respect.

What if I only want to work with one goddess right now?

Wonderful- start there. All five are yours to explore at your own pace, in whatever order your spirit is asking for.
